By Train: TGV trains run from London via Paris to Montpellier and there are trains running daily between Perpignan and Barcelona. The Catalunya Express, a low cost shuttle, connects Barcelona Airport every hour with Figueres.

By Car: Follow the autoroute A9 "La Catalan" to the last exit in France at LE BOULOU. If you are coming from Spain it is the first exit in France! Turn right at the roundabout onto the D115 following the signs for CERET which is about 15 minutes away.

After crossing the bridge into Céret, follow the CERET CENTRE signs turning left at the first and second roundabouts. Turn RIGHT at the third roundabout following signs to CENTRE VILLE.

At the top of the road turn left onto the High Street at the Grande Café. Go to the end of the road and turn RIGHT following signs to LAS ILLAS and FONTFREDE. Carry on up this road with the plane trees on your right until you come to a T junction, turn LEFT to LAS ILLAS and FONTFREDE. Follow the winding road up the hill for about 1.6 Km until you see the signboard on your left for La Chataigneraie.
